For the Gardener:

Use a clean, well-draining potting soil in containers.

In areas with alkaline soil and water, Million Bells Calibrachoa may require an iron supplement. Amendment of the soil to reduce the pH is beneficial. Iron deficiency is most likely the problem if the leaves become yellow.

For the Commercial Grower:

Use a clean growing media. Most prepared soilless mixes are safe to use. If soil is used, be sure to steam sterilize. Million Bells plants perform best in a light, well-drained media.
