For the Gardener:

Million Bells Calibrachoa are like tough little petunias. Their flowers open in the day and close at night. So, plant them where they will get full sun. These plants are beautiful in containers. The trailing varieties will cascade from hanging baskets. The others will mound delightfully. And, they are superb in garden beds, where their non-invasive spreading growth rapidly covers a two-foot diameter area in flowers, blooming all summer long.

In mild winter areas (down to 15†F), Million Bells Calibrachoa will go dormant but be ready to re-establish themselves the following spring.

For the Commercial Grower:

Unshaded greenhouse in fall, winter and spring. Some shading may be desired in summer months, depending upon greenhouse cover and/or location. Million Bells plants perform best in warm environments.

64F (18C) night, 68F (20C) cloudy day, 78F (26C) bright day.

Bright daylight is best. Supplemental high intensity lighting is recommended on cloudy days, or to extend the day length.

1200 - 1500 parts per million of CO2 is recommended.
