For the Gardener:
Moist soil is best. Do not let the soil dry out between waterings. Be especially careful in containers. These vigorous plants may surprise you with how much water they take up. Check often. Drip irrigation to pots, baskets and window boxes works great!
 
 
For the Commercial Grower:
Be sure to keep the media moist. Do not overwater. Test recycled water. Watch for contamination from algae or bacteria. Absorption watering (capillary) using ebb and flow benches or gro-mats is recommended. If overhead watering is used, watch for mold and treat if necessary.
