For the Gardener:
Surfinia petunias should be planted wherever petunias would do well. That is, plant them in full sun (a little shade is OK), after danger of frost is past. Just give them room to grow. Three plants will fill a 10" hanging basket. One plant will quickly cover a 3-foot diameter space in the garden.

For the Commercial Grower:
Unshaded greenhouse in fall, winter and spring. Some shading may be desired in summer months, depending upon greenhouse cover and/or location. Surfinia plants perform best in warm environments.

64F (18C) night, 68F (20C) cloudy day, 78F (26C) bright day

Bright daylight is best. Supplemental high intensity lighting is recommended on cloudy days, or to extend the day length.

1200 - 1500 parts per million of CO2 is recommended.
