A suggested approach is to use a growth regulator after the first pinch. Begin using the regulator when the new shoots have grown to one inch. Repeat as needed.
Hanging baskets should be ready for sale within approximately 6 to 8 weeks after planting rooted cuttings.
Surfinia petunias are extremely vigorous and fill in the pot quickly. You may wish to allow more time for premium pots with long, trailing flowers.
