For the Gardener:
Tapien Verbena make an ideal flowering groundcover for sunny areas. They are semi-hardy and will overwinter in mild winter areas. Their dense, prostrate growth keeps them low to the ground and neat in the garden and causes them to flow over the rim of pots and baskets. Tapien Verbena will bloom all summer long with the blooms a little more sparse during the middle of summer. Plant in beds two to three feet apart.
For the Commercial Grower:
Unshaded greenhouse in fall, winter and spring. Some shading may be desired in summer months, depending upon greenhouse cover and/or location. Tapien Verbena s perform best in warm environments.
