For the Gardener:
Tapien Verbena perform best with fertilization with every other watering. An easy way to keep them supplied is to incorporate a slow release fertilizer in the soil prior to planting.
For the Commercial Grower:
We recommend a constant feed of 200 to 250 ppm P, and 125 to 165 ppm K. Lower phosphorus can be used if coconut coir is incorporated.
Micronutrient requirement is average.
Add iron and magnesium twice during the production period. Once is enough if growing six weeks. If not using high phosphorus to start, use 20-20-20 constant feed.
